- Posted on 7/27/2007 at 1:35 AM by One Dead Angel
- Ok folks give some props to Taufiq (aka Shala) he is now the new Seraph for Rise of Legends Heaven. So give him a hearty congratulations. I'll be around as co-seraph for a little bit while I show Taufiq where all the scorpions and spiders are hiding. But he will be the main man in charge at ROLH. Congratulations!
- Update on the Big Huge RPG
- Posted on 7/4/2007 at 6:42 PM by Alex
- Big Huge Games has done it again! As The Asian Dynasties has teamed up Big Huge Games and Ensemble Studios, the still-unnamed RPG will bring Big Huge Games and THQ together. We were first hinted at the RPG when Ken Rolston, a 25-year RPG designer veteran joined Big Huge Games. Although little has been announced besides its existence, we can expect more news in the upcoming month and see the game for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC in 2009.
"We've wanted to do an RPG for years and I think we have a great direction that will knock everyone's socks off," said Tim Train, president and COO of Big Huge Games. "THQ's ability to create and grow new intellectual properties, and their reputation for fantastic developer support, made them the ideal partner to bring our dream game to market."
Keep checking RoLH for more news on this upcoming game. For more information, go here. The page header looks brilliant, similar to RoL's artwork but more animated.
I know it's no longer my job to news these things but since I'm already in the system...
- A special thanks and farewell to Joe "GreyPawn" Pishgar
- Posted on 7/4/2007 at 6:33 PM by Alex
- Recently, Joe "GreyPawn" Pishgar left his job at Big Huge Games to pursue a new career in Texas with Sony Entertainment. GreyPawn had been serving as BHG's Community Relations Manager since Thunder left in late 2005. Though he didn't have a long stay, we would like to thank him for his numerous contributions to Rise of Legends Heaven and the entire Big Huge Games community - among which include answering pages and pages of our pre-release questions, arranging for interviews and other events, stepping up as the benefactor in our latest screenshot contest, writing and submitting several guides and articles on scenario design and modifications which can be found in our downloads section, and assisting in the management of the Big Huge Tourney.
Thank you and good luck at Sony! Brian Reynolds, CEO of BHG, recently commented that BHG was in the process of hiring a new community relations manager.
