Please read this I beg you.
Actually we fixed the ozone problem several years ago (in our country not all of them), we did so by not manufacturing certain chemicals used in common household items such as refrigeraters and using alternative things instead.
See what you don't understand is that global warming effects things that are closer to the equater less, for example in the last century the temperature at the equater has only risen 1 degree but at the poles it's risen 12 degrees!!! That may not seem very important to you but a few more degrees and greenland and the western antartic shelf will fall apart, this will create a sudden increase in the sea level by 40 ft.!!! So just imagine what will happen when the north pole and eastern antartica (which is much larger than the western shelf) break up!!!
And yes the climate goes through minor changes intemperature and CO2 levels but never like this. Scientists can only record the temperature for the past 650,000 years but in that time the atmospheres CO2 levels (per square inch) has never risen above 300, right now it's at 400!!!
And guess who produces the most CO2, america. Cars only make up about 1/6 of CO2 emmissions, most of it comes from factories in actuallity.
Scientists have proven that we have the technology now to get rid of this threat once and for all if we do the following, use hybrid cars for now and later hydrogen cars, use thick filters on smokestacks, use renewable resources for power, recycle, theres two more but I can't remember what they are, I'll ask my dad when he comes home.
The temperature worldwide is higher than it has ever been in the last 650,000 years by far most, if you look at a graph of recorded temperature over that time you can see a clear pattern up until now, last year most provinces and countries worldwide broke temperature records for the highest ever.
I will not dive in to the following since it would take me forever to explain but global warming does all of the following:
Increases the strength and number of hurricanes, typhones (however you spell it), and tornadoes, all of which recordes have been broken for in the last year (rocordes for bothe number of and strength of)
It will cause an early ice age by disrupting the mid atlantic current.
Politicians say that if we try to stop global warming it will destroy our economy, well most other countries have done there part (such as most of europe) and it hasn't hurt there economies one bit, the politicians are just to stupuid and lazy to do anything about it.
I would continue but I'm a slow typer and there's so much evidence and harmful effects that it would take me all day to list the effects and the corrosponding evidence.
