Another weird bug that results in crashes for me is when I try to auto match 1on1 first then switch to custom game. As soon as I attempt to create the game, blam! Error of some kind with some library dll (not sure, will pay attention next time). If I host a custom game to begin with, no crash. Seems to only happen if I've first attempted to 1on1 auto and then try to make a custom game after not getting a match. Happened 3 times in a row yesterday. Someone else should try this. Click find game, 1on1, cancel, then go back and create a custom game. Very odd bug.

Some of the files in the list were indeed related to my virus protection, even though I turn it off when I'm gaming.

bAH, I think it is my router, after all. Even with those processes shut down, with my router I'm still losing my connection nearly 100% of the time. I've unplugged it today and while I've had one minor disco, it's been fine otherwise. Can anyone recommend a good, relatively inexpensive router they are using that actually works with RoL?

NO response on this for a while? Please tell me something is being worked on. I can play fine with other mp games. Cable 1mbps, comcast. Colorado. With or wout router, getting disconnected so much that RoL, though the single best rts game since SC, imo, and perhaps better, might as well be dead to me. I played 3-4 matches this morning before work - all ended with a drop. I can't even think about competitive play, let alone playing at all. Please tell me someone is working on this. Please.

I have a feeling something seriously messed up with the RoL GameSpy servers. It all worked fine a few days ago for me, then it stopped wanting to connect for about an hour. Then it worked again. Today it's not working again. I can log in, but I cannot join chat channels and I don't get past "searching for other players", even though 90 players are supposedly online.

Hopefully this isn't yet another great rts game ruined by faulty online. The online interface is so good, too...would be a shame.

To be clear, are the connectivity issues people are talking about related to the auto-match maker? I have no trouble finding games with the browser (aside from the fact that I don't see many other games listed), but the automatch feature seems to sit and spin.
