It's about 1 hour and 13 mins long (the interview, there's more to the show after it) but it was VERY interesting .
I think the third race will be drawn from Aztecs/Inca/Maya or all three. In ther interview he mentions that the third race is also drawn up from something in history, and since I think it's from Nature, I'd guess these will do perfect.

That's exactly what i'm thinking as well.
He really wanted to inspire from different earth cultures, and a sort of nature native-american-ish civ would fit right up that alley.
